My latest exciting idea is that I want to put together a compilation book for mothers sharing their personal birthing story. I think it is sad that in this day and age (Now I'm sounding like my mother!) a lot of women go through  pregnancy, the birthing process, and post natal largely without support, guidance or friendship.

Although technology has charged ahead, the personal wellbeing of the individual mothers is being ignored or forgotten. They are falling victim to the progression of a society which is neglecting the fundamental basics of womenhood, togetherness.

Fifty years ago it was traditional for women to have support (whether wanted or not!) from aunties, mothers, grandmothers and so on to share their experiences through verbal communication. The tribe grouped around the child and looked out for its wellbeing.
